What the rock does this alert from DC mean? A fire watch? All day? What? Did anyone else get this alert and feel eerily unprepared for a “fire watch” in the middle of DC?

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA FROM 10 AM EST THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING. A FIRE WEATHER WATCH MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST TO OCCUR.

    It’s very windy in NYC today. Do you think that equates to fire weather? By the way, I think it’s time for a new header as I’m tired of the apples.
